Did you know that you can print your own cash envelopes? The cash envelope system is becoming very popular. The cash envelope system allows you to specify how much you are going to spend in a given period of time. Label the envelopes for the week (or grocery shopping trip!) and when it’s gone… it’s gone! This might be an adjustment for some in the beginning, but in time it will help to show how you are spending money. For many, it is quite the eye-opener! I know for me, it was!
The cash envelope template below allows you to print, cut, and fold your own envelopes! They are just big enough for some cash and there is even a little pocket for receipts. Included is a register of sorts (on the front) so you can keep track of where your hard earned cash is going!
